Skid plates

Well, my adventure model came with "skid plates". I specifically got this trim because I live on a farm & am constantly out there feeding. I just ran over a cow bone & it knocked a big hole in the lousy plastic skid plate & got stuck. Had no idea they were plastic. They were metal on my wk2 trailhawk. Does anyone know who maybe makes metal ones?

The TRD RAV4 comes with metal skid plates. They come in two pieces, front and rear, and are very expensive.

Part numbers are PT938-42210 (front) and PT938-42211 (rear). You also need a hardware kit to install them.

They are made from sheet metal rather than plastic. Since they are so expensive, many people have gone to non-Toyota, such as LP Aventure. Those are made of thicker material for better protection.
