^^^The 2009+ might be able to use the current 4runner aftermarket TRD TOYOTA grill with some modification. Just a theory buy comparing both grilles. I've been trying to figure out how to integrate TOYOTA to the stock grille on my 2008

What size tires? Would they fit with 1” spacers?
Factory tire size actually 225/65r17 (28.5x8.9)
You can fit 235/70/17s (30×9.3) and it will clear the spring perch. Anything taller than that will not clear the perch unless maybe with the bilstein 5100 from Northwood.

Looks good, what's the actual tire size?

I re-read your first post, and between your stacked lift kits and intentional exhaust leak, I think you're playing with fire. But it seems to have gotten you this far.

Haha yeah wish they made the strut spacers bigger than 2" for 3rd gen ravs 😅 I did actually put the exhaust back to normal a while back.

As for the tires they're 235/75r17 falken rubitreks (but then the side wall also says OD 31 OW 9.5 which is what I get with a tape measure)

Where are you getting your hubcentric spacers?? I am thinking about getting a 1" wheel spacer but havent quite figured out who to get it from
Love your build by the way! I am currently building out a camper platform in the back, which surprisingly I have rarely seen for the gen 3 rav4s. Once the camper is built I will give it a 1.5" lift in the front and 1" in the back, with 1" wheel spacers and 235/65/17 tires.
If I can figure out how to do the grill like yours, I would probably do that at some point too!
Let me know what wheel spacers you recomend!

korky Would love to see what you've done regarding the camper platform build. Please share some pics...

Does 1" wheel spacer even clears the stock wheel studs?

I love the build I’ve done something similar to what you did with the grille. I used a new part off the TRD 4Runners their bumper has an optional look that has a panel which is basically double sided taped on and says Toyota so I got a similar look without modifying the grill. So far it looks pretty good and has held up. I’m an auto body tech with Toyota so I have a lot of spare things laying around and I was just trying something and ended up loving the look I’ll post pics here soon

I have since upgraded to LEDs fog lamps off the Lexus RX300 they are the exact same fitment as the old fog lamp design. Plug and play they even have built in heat sinks and everything eventually I’ll upgrade to the projector design in the newer tacomas but they’re expensive I typically fix the old assemblies I replace and so that’s how I upgraded on a budget

Okay so yeah as above at 3.5" with 31s it was absolutely reliable and great!

But then I just had to take it up a couple inches more that messed a lot up... 🙃😭

5.5" of lift is way too much without a front subframe drop, offroading and towing like that ended up messing up the transmission (Big oof $$$$ 😭)

The place that fixed it did a great job but will not warranty it lifted or with those huge 31s (which wouldn't fit with no lift anyway)

So now am down to stock height and no more wheel spacers and 245/65r17 Falken Wildpeak H/T02 tires.

Have been hitting lots of trails around FL with this set-up and is an amazing rig! (Haha I even take the doors off time to time to enjoy this Florida weather! It's a blast!)

A great read, thanks for the time line! I just got my first Rav4 (2012 v6 limited w/tow package) that an elderly lady had so not much wear and tear and only 75k. I would love to start doing mods and upgrades for towing and camping.

Do you feel restrained now that the car isn't lifted? Like you can't go as many places?
