P2017 DTC is a circuit code. That means the sensor/switch could be faulty
Also check, ..
MAF sensor could need cleaning,
Cleaning the intake manifold,
Replacing the intake control solenoid,
Fixing the wiring of an open or short.
Note: I have never had to deal with this so most of this is guessing.
The intake manifold has valves which is controlled by a solenoid. It is used to modify air flow thru the intake manifold to help optimize the air fuel mixture which is dependent upon the engine speed and load. Usually located on the side of the engine near the intake manifold. Good luck.
