Not sure if anyone knows right off hand, but are all the Rav4P underbody plastic panels all (or mostly) held on by the same kind of plastic clips? I know most of the cover panels are also held on with bolts, but the clips that assist the bolts, if they are all the same, anyone know the toyota part number (or numbers)? It might be good if I could get a few extra to have around if/when I end up removing/reinstalling some of the panels during repairs, etc.

Clips are standard sizes across mfg's, you can buy kits on Amazon for cheap that will provide a lifetime supply assortment. Search Retainer Clips.
The clips are not all the same. Well, the clips might be but there are a variety of different types of "fasteners" that hold the panels on.
For what it's worth, I removed all of the plastic panels and didn't break any of the fasteners in the process. I used a silver sharpie to mark a symbol next to each fastener so I knew what went where.

Thank you. Yeah, l have purchased some specific sized ones from amazon for an old honda van we have (engine compartment). But rather than just getting a bunch of random ones, l was more asking which specific one(s) the rav has holding up just the underbody panels. And is it just one size, or several different types?

Look up the panels in the Toyota parts web site. They will have an exploded view showing all the bolts and clips that are needed, including the part numbers for each.

The real question is why auto manufacturers need to use so many different types of clips some of which are almost (but not quite) identical. The fender liners , for example, use two different clips. They look mostly the same, they both fit and lock in in both places and they both do the same thing (hold the fender liner in place) but they are slightly different.

Point well taken. I've been there, done that, too. Just last summer, I had a run in with a snow bank on my 4Runner. Ripped off the wheel well liner. Same clips as the RAV4.
