One of the best mods I did, imo. Fit was spot on, clipped right in. Light wiring was easy with a fuse tap. Front bumper needs to come off, which is a much easier process than I thought it would be. If it scares you to drop the bumper, I’m sure a body shop could do the swap for a reasonable price.

My only nits about it are: it’s designed to work with the tech package, so it has openings for a front camera and parking sensors, which I don’t have on my RAV. And I wish the letters were spread out more to fill up the emblem space. No biggie, though, I really like what it did for the looks of the front end.

Here’s a quick snap I took just now

Forgot to mention the quality of plastic is very good. If you have a matte black bumper, the plastic matches way better than the glossy stock grille.
Here’s a close up showing the plastic match that also shows the early stages of the ice storm today in lower Michigan:

yeah, I wish all of the plastic on my prime XSE was matte. I'm not a fan of shiny black plastic.

Do you have an install video by any chance? Looks sick!

Do you have an installation video by any chance? I’d want to do this but have no clue lol. Looks sick!

Everyone should be aware there are two shapes for the 5th gen RAV4 grill. Most RAV4s have the shape shown in the first post. while the Adventure and TRD have a different shape. To tell the difference, look at the outside bottom corners; the normal shape has a droop on the corner that reminds me of a mustache, while the other shape is slanted down and rounded. You don't want to get the wrong one and have to return it.

Thank you! Is there a video out there with the actual grille removal on the hybrid?
Not sure you need a video.

After you have the front bumper cover off, the next step depends on the style you have (see post #13 above) for the radar sensor for TSS is behind the Toyota emblem at the top for the regular style.

If that is the case, the grill just snaps in place on the bumper cover. You may need to unfasten some wire harness and reattach when done. For the grill (and most of the other pieces on the bumper cover, Toyota uses a wide push in fastener that you may have to release; but when you see those, you will be able to figure out how to do it.
