wireless Apple car play/Android auto as wired

Hi,

I have wireless Apple and Android auto, but I found it is not that useful for me because I need to charge my phone anyway, what is better than charging the phone while you are phone? Plus, I have to manually connect Android auto every time as it keeps saying connection interrupted. Apple car play is working fine.

So my question is how to disable wireless Apple Android auto and use wired one? Is it possible? Thank you

Which phone is set as primary? I know I have connection issues with my wife's phone as secondary with android auto. But my phone is also an android. Can't imagine trying to use both apple and android.

Here is my setup,
1. Use Apple as primary
2. In the meantime, connect Android as phone only. This way I can use Apple as gps and Android as a phone

However, if I leave iPhone at home, I will enable Android auto from car screen. Once it is enabled, Android auto will be connected. But, say, I turn off the car and go shopping, when I come back, it always says connection interrupted, that's why I want to use wired connection..thx

iPhone is primary. While iPhone is on car play, I connect Android with phone enabled only, so I can pick up Android from car as well.
But,if I leave iPhone at home, I need to enable Android auto from car screen manually. It will then connect. However, say, I turn off car and go shopping, when I turn on the car, it keeps saying connection interrupted. It doesn't connect automatically,I have to go to settings and pree connect again. That's why I want to use wired connection.. thank you
