I have to say I’m a big fan of the Toyota brand rubber floor liners. Mine came with them and so far they seem to cover very well and fit great. I have younger children and messes are constant.

Also line the “mud flaps” it came with. I forget the factory name but I like them on any vehicle to keep the road grime off the paint and underside of the vehicle.

-added divider for center armrest cubby

-added divider for center front cubby that is below a/c controls

-added rubber mats for the cubbies, keeps stuff from sliding

-changed horns to hella, now horn makes real noise

-changed OEM tires to michelin cross climate 2, these laugh at standing water

-got weathertech floor mats, 'cuz mud and snow defeats toyota branded all weather mats

-fitcamx
Dude. The horn sounds so whimpy. First time I used it I thought I needed to change that. lol.

Hella Horn upgrade. Was about 20 bucks on Amazon. Plug and play.

The cheap amazon/ebay tray to go in center console - 10 bucks or so.

Hitch receiver

And my favorite, the storage shelf off of Amazon. Not cheap, but Ive LOVED it.

Here's my video on it.

Ive got more stuff sitting around, like the rear hatch lights (for interior) and LED replacements for interior lights - just not gotten around to it yet.

I been looking at those but how sturdy are they? How much weight can i put on those?

I assume you mean the shelf. The listing for that (https://www.amazon.com/HIGH-FLYING-...31874058&s=automotive&sprefix=rav4+high+flying+shelf,automotive,232&sr=1-2&th=1) does not mention a weight capacity.

But it attaches with 3M double sided sticky tape which would limit the weight capability. The shelf and hardware, because it is aluminum, seems to be fairly sturdy. Still, you don't want to put much weight that high because if you have an accident, you don't want stuff flying around.

@FKHeath is right on the adhesive mount
And on the accident part - I actually got rear ended a week after adding this - the items didnt move. Now, they were larger boxes, but the 'lip' on the forward-facing side preventing movement.

Now, how much weight? I dont know. Ive had about 50lbs up there with no issue, but you wouldnt want to put a ton up there

Dealer installed roof rack cross bars when we bought our white '22 XLE new. Ordered it with factory rubber floor mats, they fit far better than friend's "laser measured" Weather Techs. It also came with a bag of Toyota charging cables for phones, which for some reason connect to the car better than generic ones.

I installed factory mud flaps, Start-X remote start(uses factory fob), window rain visors, and added a wireless phone charging tray, and a Lego Star Wars Stormtrooper for the change tray. Remote start works so well I installed one on daughter's '20 XLE.

Might add a hitch receiver for a bike carrier in the spring, as I use two Thule folding kayak carriers on the roof rack during the summer.

What you need is for you to decide.

Flloormats... check amazon ebay aliexpress for options before paying excessively for a few of those name brands

Reverse LED bulbs..... went with a little upgrade since I still turn around to look and use my mirrors.

Armrest cover. Have both the padded and the non padded in pseudo leather. I prefer the padded. Again, both are available on amazon. The padded one also has optional cell phone holder on both sides, that can store other small equivalents.

Glove box divider.... not sure when Toyota forgot how to make a glovebox. Divider gives hint of organizing.

Center armrest storage tray.... always used them in numerous cars and recommend.
Center armrest storage divider... don't care for it.

Below HVAC controls center console divider.... its still there but still not sure if I'm going to keep it.

Behind radio screen dash storage tray.... didn't peel/stick it yet but pretty sure going to keep this one. Tend to toss stuff up there and the tray helps. Good for the garmin/tomtom gps

Key fob cover... worry less now when dropping that expensive fob remote. Etsy and Amazon have plenty of choices.

Cupholder and various liners. A full set from Amazon stuffed everywhere. You can get a sheet of rubber and cut your own.

Cargo mat.... bought a generic that covers the rear cargo and rear seats and is velcro'd in just like OE but 1/3 the cost

Rear hatch LED bulbs. Didn't care for the overly bright ones that many members here install. Just got the center hatch Lexus one and plan on installing it soon. Hope it fits.

Splash/mud flaps/guards.... OE is good enough. RokBlokz Trd are some others.

Wheel locks... around here, methheads tend to raid employee parking lots. Gorilla, OE or Mcgard... are some choices.

Catshield... your catalytic converters might need protection just like your wheels.

Speakers/amp/subwoofer.... I find both the 6-speaker and JBL lacking. Still building a system and will also consider some sound proofing too.

Hitch... have nothing to tow behind a Rav4 but could use a carry rack, grill carrier, bicycle carrier.... so might consider one. Considering the ecohitch hiddern or Oris detachable.

Window tint.... if you're in a hot area, look at the premium or higher end ceramic, nano ceramic, or heatblock tints. Consider a windshield protection film, clearplex xpel exoshield, and use the same for the sun/moon roofs if equipped.

Wolo, Hella, PIAA horns if you enjoy responding to or creating road rage. We all really need train horns and anger management.

Trd has some stuff, and some of it might actually fit

Window visors.... since I'm in a hot climate and always leave a window or 2 1/4" open, and need flash t-storm water protection. Don't forget a windshield sun screen too.

Also recently added a FICs cell phone holder that goes around the radio screen and is better than a vent mount.

Toyota rav4 2019-2024 is another spot for some unneeded but maybe wanted extras. Don't forget ebayamazonaliexpress for comparative shopping/pricing

Uhaul Trailer hitch. One person install. I only carry a Cargo rack, but it is nice to carry something large outside the vehicle. Mine has carried several Deer to the processor.
Most trailer hitches, including Uhaul, mount below the rear bumper and may drag on the ground over dips or driveway cuts. Better to get the OEM or Eco hitch which mount higher.

Thanks. Any cutting of the bumper required? Does it protrude down enough to worry about steep driveways?

For UHaul hitch, no bumper cutting needed. Yes, on some dips and driveway cuts.

New RAV4 owner here, the XLE Premium came with nearly everything. Factory mud flaps & rubber floor mats.

I'm rather surprised that nobody else mentioned rain guards. I always add them to my cars so I can leave the windows cracked open. Amazon has dozens of inexpensive sick on brands.

I'm currently debating a dedicated wireless charge pad. I have a USB powered 'hockey puck' shaped device that I used in my other car. IDK if I wish to toss the phone in the "cubby" in front of the gear shifter.

IDK about the sound. With a custom equalizer setting on my phone +slight adjustments to the factory stereo I guess it sounds "good enough" however I still find it lacking on both high and low ends.

I've seen other posts about adding 'cabin lighting' that I may look into.

The problem with the factory rubber mats is they have zero coverage under the pedal. So all of the crap from your shoes falls directly on the carpet and then works it's way under the mat. I know this because I have them. Not sure how weathertechs are but I bet the tuxmats actually cover this area.

I am also happy enough with the sound from both the basic factory setup on our gas XLE non-premium and our upgraded JBLs on our Limited trim.
