Hey folks!

Trying to probe the R4P's internal stats some more. Does anyone have any knowledge of the PIDs? Only some of the Prius ones work, but I figure there's folks who've figured out more things that could be pulled from the odb2 port.

Thanks!

Above are the stats that are available on ScanGuage II (SGII). Note that SGII needs Rav4Prime firmware update or it will not sleep and it will drain the 12v and the vehicle will not start (three times). These stats should be available to all the OBD2 readers/apps but somebody needs to translate the ScanGuage ‘gauges’ into PID for Tourqe pro, OBDLink, …
I have not had any luck getting Prius or Rav4Hybrid PIDs to work on the R4Prime.

I get a subset of SGII stats using BlueDriver w easy to use logs/graphs. Good for experiments!

Carista does not have live values right now, but ALL settings are available and easy to change.
And Carista responded;

Hi Charles,

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, that's correct - there are some changes in the 2021 models. The electronic modules in those cars use the next-generation communication protocol. We're already working on that issue, and you should see new live data and customizations in the beta version very soon. Also, we appreciate your help, but there is no need to send debug data every time you receive a beta update. As you said yourself, it takes a long time to collect and send that data. We'll contact you again when we need a new debug report. Thanks again for the feedback! It's much appreciated!

Thanks, I didn't see SG2 in search, was looking for torque. I run a OBDlink MX+, that did get an update as well (with carista) but I was looking for more detailed data. Will report back when I've tried some stuff.
