Looks like it's been down for about a week or two with no sign of coming back to life... It was such a great site. Plug in your VIN, get exploded diagrams of everything with part numbers.

This particular site has been linked in these forums thousands of times, for good reason. Now it seems we must hold a vigil and find a new source.

Does anyone have another exploded diagram source like this for the RAVs? I know about the ToyotaDIY site as well, but as far as I can tell there are no fiches, only text and part numbers.

Of course, the repair manuals have all the diagrams, but having them all aggregated and each piece clickable is so much nicer.

EDIT: Looks like the site going down is something that happens every few years... possibly related to Toyota making efforts to take it down. Maybe it will return in another week since it's come back before.

Also, supposedly ToyotaDIY does have diagrams, but I cannot get them to load at all. Someone in the above thread also mentioned something broken with ToyotaDIY and loading diagrams. Does anybody else see diagrams on ToyotaDIY?

I can see the exploded parts diagrams on ToyoDIY. I’ve been a member there for a long time. But I vaguely recall you had to go through some hoops to get that access. I can send you an invite to see if that’ll get it working for you. Just send me your email via a PM.

I honestly didn't even notice the sign-in buttons on that site until now! Thanks for the help, I'll send a DM in a sec

Sadly, it appears that ToyoDIY is also on the brink of disappearance. Their email systems for anything @toyodiy.com are completely offline, and their user registration process is broken.

So it seems if you already had an account, cherish it and download as much as you can before it goes away without warning. If you didn't already have an account, I guess we're just stuck with the archaic PDF diagrams dispersed throughout the repair manuals for anything.

Hum is this a result of the tariffs?
Just asking as it could be a block on the internet from usa?

Does any one have a masking for ip
That can check this with location set as japan?

I'm a systems and site-reliability engineer, unfortunately the site is straight up offline. HTTP returns a 404, which means it can get to the server but there's no data to display, aka "Not Found."

For kicks I tried a few different VPN locations, but same results. The domain is registered in Czech Republic, btw. I tried Japan as well as several European origin servers.

Whether or not it's a result of the tariffs, who knows. I noticed it being down before they officially took effect, but could have still been pre-emptive I suppose. I think it's coincidence, though, seeing as the site has gone done as a result of DMCA requests from Toyota in the past.

EDIT:

Derp, I just realized you might be asking about ToyoDIY, the above is about japan-parts.eu. ToyoDIY is a different story... the site itself is online and accessible from anywhere. The email server (the one that accepts incoming mail) is dead, though. I can't seem to get any traffic to it. They appear to have an SMTP-only server that still operates which sends emails from the site when you request a password change, etc.

Every time I send a mail to support, though, it gets kicked back due to routing issues. Can't find the mailbox.

Lastly, ToyoDIY is a USA based group, their domain is registered here.

EDIT2:

As of this morning, it appears that ToyoDIY's email servers are back online. They still have a lot of routing issues due to poor configuration, but I can reach it now. Maybe they will respond to my mail and fix the issues?!
