Was wanting to change the PCV valve myself. Any tips on where it is located ? Right side , left side What to look for.

its on the valve cover near plug wires near the oil cap look for the lil pipe that sticks out 90 degrees with a hose connecting to the intake manifold am i ryt gurus? :D
 
You might want to conisder replacing the rubber grommet as well. I tried, but could not get my old one out, so I left it. :oops:

Since my old PCV valve was working fine, the new one made abolsutely no difference whatsoever to the running of my Rav. So much for service intervals.
 
Er....I just noticed that your Rav is a 2003 so the PCV valve is different to ours. Your one screws in and is in a different place. I would check the 4.2s forum.
