FRESH air intake

Page 278 in the owner's manual:
"When driving on dusty roads, close all windows. If dust thrown up by the vehicle is still drawn into the vehicle after closing the windows, it is recommended that the air intake selector be set to FRESH and the fan speed selector to any setting except off."

Doesnt that just blows all the dust in the car?
Is it me or this doesnt make sense?

The price difference to step up to the Limited paid for itself the first time we were behind a poorly-maintained truck and we could just hit the micro-filtration button. Within 10 seconds the stench was gone from the cabin. It didn't really seem necessary to me at first, but now it's one of my favorite features.

never used ours yet. I keep forgetting its there. So it works that good huh?? :)

I hate getting behind a smoker ( person or vehicle ), or roadkill. Just hit the filtration button and VOILA!


Also works on farts. :oops:

You know, I was wondering about the usefulness of that feature. Nice to know it is a real plus!
