Damn that's expensive, doesn't look very comfortable, no shoulder belt, doesn't look like you can use only 1 seat, and it doesn't include stiffer rear springs. Good find though

The pictures you're looking at are the"Standard Third Row Seats". Read under "Third Seat Deluxe Package" and it will include 2-retractable shoulder belts, 2 adjustable head restraints and third lap belt.

Got it... but still that's kind of expensive and still missing other "features". Guess it's a great alternative for those that just wished they could have purchased the 3rd row.

Or those who want a certain RAV and not want to be stuck to certain Model, Packages, etc... offered by Toyota. Which we know...always happen

Standard 3rd row seat

I have the standard 3rd row seat and they work great for my 7 year old twins, but the foot room is cramped. Now a good option for long trips over 2-3 hours and the middle seats have to move forward quite a bit just to accomodate the back row. I'm 6'4" and can move the driver seat forward so you can imagine the tight fit. But I have to say that this is the best SUV I have ever owned. Just the horsepower alone makes it an exciting vehicle to drive.

For that aftermarket seat, it looks like it would also do but you probably have to mount it somewhat permanently, which will make it tough to transport anything else when these seats are not in use. [/i]

Honestly, unless you have 6 toddlers (like the "Octomom"), why?? I can;t imagine trying to cram people in there. Hell, I wouldn't even want to put 3 kids across the rear seat.......

I'd say scour the junkyards and see if you can't find a set of OEM seats, or maybe just buy a set from Toyota. I'd much rather have OEM parts.

Great find- How r u gona get to the third row if seat facing farward even with seat second row folded u got to be on ur knees crawing.I could understand if face backward.

I really need a car with a third row. I was thinking of buying a sequoia after paying of da rav. Maybe this will do for now. " it will be install facing backward"

It was ok.. not ultra uncomfortable but doable.

I've been looking at these again and I think I'm definitely going to get them for my future Rav4 unless they sell Limited with black interiors

You can order them with shoulder belts and head restraints too.

This seems pretty popular for Jeep users

You also retain all of your trunk space with this since no part of the seat goes into the trunks lower compartment.

They don't look like got any leg room :-/
I was thinking of buying it but ending up buying a used 2000 Sienna XLE

It looks like they sit further back than stock 3rd row, and if it's rear facing you have even more room. I know the stock 3rd rows are flush with the end of the trunk.

I like my stock 3rd row seats. All the cloth matches and the 2nd row seats fold down forward so that passengers can get into the 3rd row just like a 2 door coupe vehicle. Getting it included with my vehicle was the best investment ever! I've used it several times taking adults from one end of the city to the other. It may not be too comfortable for them, but I don't care. I also sat in it myself and let someone else drive my RAV, and it didn't feel uncomfortable to me. Overall, I didn't purchase this vehicle to please my passengers! This aftermarket product seems like a great addition... if you really, really need it.
