Just installed the weathech side window deflectors on a 2011 limited and the auto power window (driver side) not working as it did. Tried reprograming the switch according to the manual but it has a mind of its own. When I try to auto raise the window it comes back down. Won't stay up. Also tried the weathech programing instructions for the auto switch which was to put the window all the way up and hold the switch in the up position for at least 10 seconds. This also does not help.
Any ideas would really help. Is there a way to turn off the auto switch?

Atcomo, don't quote me, but I think a lot of auto-window switches have a pressure sensor so that if your finger or something gets stuck in the window it will roll back down automatically. Could your deflector be rubbing the window enough that it thinks something is stuck in there so it opens again.

Bump the switch carefully to get the window closed manually. Then leave it for 24 hours and it should be OK after that.

This is the part of this product I hate. I have little patience for this kind of stuff.

I had weathertech visors in my 4runner, I was constantly dealing with the auto power windows. Both front side windows were auto and my passengers could never put up the window without problems. very frustrating! I hated weathertech visors, but I'm over that now....:)

Good thing JB has it figured out!

Follow the instructions in this video and it should be fine:

They make it look so easy...:)
Weathertech used to have that video on their web site. I viewed it right before installing my visors...and in my case it was just that easy.

I'd been having some issues with my drivers side window closing with the auto up feature...read the info on this thread and watched the hints feature at the end of the weathertech video. These 2 things fixed it for me:

(1) Use the tip at the end of the weathertech video to sort of bow out the deflector as the window is going up. That allowed it to go all the way up for the first time without kicking back down.

(2) I also did the 10-second holding the switch up bit after the window had seated.

After that I did about a dozen auto-up's with it working just fine.

Thanks to everyone for the information sharing!
