I acquired a 2006 V6 that has a button near the steering wheel that will "lock" the wheels into place (4wd) up to 25mph. That is great...except for the mph limit. Does this vehicle have AWD in general and the button is just an extra feature? Thanks for any insights.
Something I have been curious about... When you disable skid control nanny via the tap-dance is it disengaging the entire Skid Control ECU? Therefore disabling the speed sensor or anything else from reaching the 4WD ECU?
After a 2 week holiday i went to start my 2006 diesel rav4 and the check 4wd, check abs and check braking system lights came up. Upon hard braking i noticed that the abs was not functioning. A trip to the local mechanic when we hooked up to a laptop confirmed a rear right wheel sensor...
