I recently bought a 2008 Rav4 with about 155K miles. The cruise control system was not working when I bought the car. The green light did not come on when cruise control was active. The new car dealer who sold me the vehicle said the cruise control switch needs to be replaced.

Rav 4 2004 Cruiser. Sudden Intermittent electrical problems.

Snapped off and was hanging by the wires. I taped it to the steering wheel to keep it from flopping around.
Tried various super glues but they didn't stick at all.
Any thoughts on repair or replace?

I just traded in my 2010 Prius for a 2020 RAV4 Hybrid. My Prius had DRCC that could be adjusted in 5 MPH increments for every ~1.5 seconds you held the cruise control lever in either direction.
I'm quite disappointed to see that for some reason, the US models only are limited to 1 MPH...
