I asked about this in the O2 sensor thread, but I didn’t get a reply; possibly my own fault because of a way overdue reply, which I apologize for, but I have had some personal issues I had to deal with.

Long story short; I am trying find out where the connector for the “downstream o2 sensor” is.

The wire(s) for the sensor goes into the cabin (as pictured below):

But where do I access the connector for it?

Thank you in advance

Under the carpet under the passenger seat? At least as I recall that's where it was on the 4.1 I changed the O2 sensor on.

Okay, so does it require me to remove the passenger seat and have a look under carpet?

Try moving the seat forward and looking under the back?

Alright, found the little bastard!

According to this video, there’s supposed to measure some resistance (oHm) on the two black wires.

And in this case there’s absolutely nothing on the rear o2 sensor….so we have a winner!

Thank you for all the help fellers!

They put the connector in an odd spot.

Why did the video link get deleted?

Are we not allowed to link to YouTube?

Anyway; it’s a video by ChrisFix titled “How to check and replace an oxygen sensor”
