Hi Rav gurus,

The Rav began throwing fault codes after an oil change and fuel cleaner additive. Seems to be getting progressively worse. When light is on, power is near non existent.... can accelerate but very slow. Motor will kick around if I push too hard.

Code reader came today.

I got:

P1300
P1155
P1135
P0141

Suspect all a symptom of the P1300. Current plan of attack is to replace coil pack on number 1 with an aftermarket ($230 AUD genuine vs $110 aftermarket), then clear the codes, drive it and see if anything comes back.

Does that sound about right or am I missing something?

New coil pack and plugs. No faults yet.
Running as per normal thus far.
Is it normal for these cars to be hesitant to change down unless really pushed? I feel the autos in them might be a bit limiting, but also wonder if maybe TPS or something else is a little bit out.
