I bought a used '04 with a bad a/c compressor. Removed old compressor and condenser, flushed, replaced with all new + dryer. Vacuumed, charged it, and it worked fine in cool weather. When the weather got warmer it went intermittent on me. It cools for 15 seconds then off for 1 1/2 minutes then repeats like clockwork. My wife timed it for a good 20 minutes while I drove. Charge still shows good. Can anybody help? Go easy this is my first post.

It is possible that you charged a little more gaz than needed. So when the compressor is on, the maximum pressure is too rapidly obtained. I've seen this a few times before.

Thanks Commando,
I tend to be somewhat of a Tim Allen in my approach to things and I may have gotten a little ambitious. If a little is good then a lot must be better right? Speaking of pressure is there any chance of a faulty sensor? A/c relays and sensors are a realm I haven't dealt with.

Thanks Commando,

Your diagnosis was spot on. I must have gotten a little over-zealous on the servicing.
