Hey guys, just picked up an 08 Rav4 V6 and as always in my area, the winter is approaching fast... looking online I found a set of 1-season old winters from a 2013 Rav4, size is 225/70R16s, however my understanding was that the V6 have bigger brakes? or am I wrong there? will these fit?

I guess best bet would be to try one on, just don't want to make the trip for nothing... thanks in advance.

That's great to know, I wonder if they're the same size from 07 to 08 and up... these were on a 2013 but those are 4cyl so who knows if they retained the 4cyl Rav4 brake setup from 2013 and on.

Canon101, any way you could measure and see the size of the rotor from end to end? will measure mine when I get it on wednesday, just want to make sure we're ready for winter, you know how it is here; if you don't have the snow tires early enough... good luck finding a set when the snow comes down, lol.

Just checked Rock Auto using Raybestos rotors as reference:

2008 Rear 11.063 inch V6
Front 11.65 inch V6

2013 Rear 11.063 inch
Front 11.65 inch

Glad they are the same brake size since I retain my winter 16 inch wheels/tires from my old 05 RAV4.

it's the fronts that change I think, I'm hoping not enough to warrant 17" and up.
