I bought a new winter tires last year for my Rogue, 16'' wheels, 215/70R/16. I now have a 2017 RAV4 Xle. I asked my local dealership if I can use these tires with a new set of Toyota compatible wheels and I was told 16” wheel will not fit around the brakes on a new Rav. Is this true ?

Nope. Unless your particular rims are weird. I have 16" steel wheels for winter on my 16 hybrid limited, on the car right now, and also used them on my 14 xle.

I can confirm 16" steel wheels do fit on the 4.4 gen. No caliper clearance issues, but I am using outside wheel weights. You may run into an issue if using inside stick on weights, but not sure.

it will fit, but my concern is the hub bore of Nissan roque, rav4 has 60.1 hub bore diameter if its greater than 60.1 it will fit to your rav4.
