My owner's manual is still on it's way. Can anyone give me the lug nut torque settings for the stock steel 1996 US rims, and the lug nut size? Thanks!!

thanks!

Just checking to see if my wheels were on tight. The lug nut size (exterior) are 21mm.

I torqued them all with a calibrated clicker to 75, and they were all tight. I'm now wondering if they're too tight!! I did read that with original steel wheels, there was a TSB in '98 where overtightening could cause brake failure and at one time the dealers were replacing steel wheels with alloys!!

From our TIRE LIST = http://rav4world.com/index/tirelist.html

Looking to purchase WHEEL LOCKS? RAV4 stud size is 12mm with a 1.5 pitch.
When installing the locks... torque is 75 ft. lbs.
