What motor does the 2000 4.1 have in it ?

Surprisingly , I could not find this info in the FAQ section .

most of the rav have a 3sfe (4.1 & 4.1.2)the diference from the 1998 - 2000 I believe that is the ignition that is more pressice but less modifiable, exhaust that have just one catalytic (that is very good) and a headershape manifold and valve cover that is more high or tall (sorry for my poor english) and interiors the cluster (carbonfiber style) cluster cover is more tiny and the cover of the dash have a diferent and porous skin
I know more or less about the 4.1.2 becuase my brother have one and I pass a time washing his brain tryin to modify his rav(sometimes I need to explain something to him).

mine was made in 1996 (as per the name plate) and has a 3s-fe engine. it has ignitor pack ignition (no distributor) but no catalytic converter at all!

no 3s-gte but there was jap spec 3s-ge beams vvti.
94-97 should have distributor and 1 cat (part of the header).
98-00 should have coils packs but not sure if 1 or 2 cats.

Just a little too much info :lol:
I was just asking in regards to my vehicle (North America) .

The motor is the 4 cylinder Camra motor .

I guess the simple answer then is yes, your RAV4 came with the same exact motor as every other 2000 RAV4 out there in North America.
