Hey guys! :) I'm new here, just became the new owner of a 2000 Toyota RAV4 L (I'll post some pics and stuff later). I love the car! It's fantastic, fun to drive and I'll probably have more questions as I progress further into XA10/4.1 ownership journey. Anyway, my car has leather seats, which is awesome (though I love the cloth seats as well) but when I pulled up the specs on Toyota Owners, it came up with front fabric seats. I thought that was odd so I tried to get more info without spending any money haha, so I pulled up the VIN on Vehicle History, and on there it states: "...LEATHER INSTALLED..." for 07/2000 (my car was built in 03/2000. So my question is if anyone knows if that was possibly a dealer installed option? I'll try and get some screenshots hopefully they show up. Thanks!

It has the leather door panels too.

Mine don't have all those creases. I'll have to look at the stitching. Yours have tiny perforations too?
Nope, and see that's what tipped me off! The headrest were a little funky too. Regardless if it's stock or not it's a nice enough interior that I don't really care :) Anyway, here are some pics (sorry about the quality, it's getting dark here but I'm too curious haha)

So, the seat skins are aftermarket. But the door panels look OEM (so likely were replaced).

A good seat-shop can likely tighten up those headrests, etc.
Ahh, thanks for the input LugNut! Bummer the seats are not OEM, but they are very nicely done regardless, so that's cool with me. Now off to find a good seat-shop!
