Ok I did some quick research and here's what I found in regards to tires being discussed so far.

Ratings works as follows: a tire with a treadwear rating of 150 will wear 1.5 times faster than a tire with a rating of 100.

Yokohama Geolandar G91A Treadwear: 280 Traction B Temp A
Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Treadwear: 600 Traction A Temp A
Dunlop SP9000: Treadwear: 280 Traction: AA Temp A

Looks like the Dunlop wins hands down for traction. The Bridgestone has slightly better traction but is gonna wear out over twice as quickly as the Yoke...deal killer for me. I priced the Dunlops here and they're as high as $207 a tire (YOW):

guitarspanker,

I think you have it backwards, a tire with a treadwear rating of 150 will last 1.5 times longer than a tire with a rating of 100. That means the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza will last more than twice as long as the Yokohama Geolandar and the Bridgestone has a better traction rating. I would say that the Alenza is a much better tire than the Geolander.
