Mobil 1 has a $12 rebate twice a year. I get my 0w-20 at Wal-Mart for $23 and then send in the $12 rebate so it comes out $11 a 5 quart jug. Limit is 2 jugs.

EMFBI but when approximately does Wally World have these sales? Two jugs would suit me for a while on the wife's '05 Limited (I use dino oil in my '07). THANKS

Last one "The last day for submissions was October 31, 2018". So my guess would be in a couple of months. Keep and eye on their website.


If you need more than 2 jugs then you can use a friend or family address to get more.

Pennzoil is having a $10 rebate. On a Synthetic oil 5 quart jug. You can get it at Wal-Mart for $22.70 - $10 mail in rebate .

Why use dino when you can get synthetic for just about the same price and stretch you change interval when MOBIL1 has their rebates? I get my oil at Wal-Mart and use the rebates.

Sorry to keep this thread open, but the question remains. 5W-20 or 0W-20?

I understand that synthetic is better but 5W-20 can be fully synthetic as well.

(Look up Castrol Magnatec 5W-20)

Go with the Mobil 1 0w20 from Wal-Mart and the Mobil 1 rebate that's on right now. It's cheaper.

10.88 for a 5 qt jug after rebate. Hard pressed to find a name brand cheaper.
