Has anyone found a short cut to get the blower housing out of the way of replacing the passenger side mix and the air output servos?
It seems like removing the entire dash should not be required,,including the steering wheel....Really? If the upper and lower glove box were out of the way it seems like unbolting the 3 bolts you can see under the glove box should do it. Maybe just lifting the passenger side upper dash so the lower dash can come off? How does the air inlet above the cabin filter attach to the intake under the wipers?

There are electric servo motors that operate the HVAC dampers controlling which vents the hot or cold air come out of. Sealant that the factory used on the heater and blower boxes dripped down in hot climates and fouled the dampers causing the gears to strip or the motors to fail. I am looking for a way to drop the blower housing out of the way without removing the entire upper and lower instrument panels so the servos can be replaced.
