Hello all,

First time poster and took delivery of my RAV 2 weeks ago (2011 2.2 D-CAT Auto with XTR trim). I think it's a great SUV and just have a question on fuel economy. I have searched for other threads on MPG and am currently using the advice regarding odometer reset and manual calculation of fuel economy. I just wondered if anyone had specific experience of the 2.2 D-CAT engine on an automatic gearbox.

I'm barely managing 33 MPG. This is on normal diesel fuel, mixture of B roads and dual carriageway driving, unladen and an easy right foot. Appreciate the car is heavier than my previous diesels (Mini Countryman and Seat Leon FR).

Thanks for reading

Welcome! This forum has some UK, Australian, NZ, and other members but is largely North America - based and diesel RAVs unfortunately are not sold in North America. You probably would get more help by subscribing to a UK - based forum, such as: Welcome to the UKs Premier RAV4 and SUV club Good luck!
