Gidday all from Oz.

I’ve purchased a FWD 2011 2.4L Rav with 240,000km.
We live in a country region so lots of bumpy roads and the odd gravel/dirt roads for our day to day travelling. Have new rotors and pads and suspension and tyres are my next thing on the to do list.
Had plenty of experience setting up motorcycle suspension but this is the first car I’ve attempted to tinker with suspension.
So I’m looking for specs on the std OEM suspension to give me a base to start before I choose which way to go with the Rav.

Coil rates. Eg. Front-3kg/mm rear- 5kg/mm

Any info would be appreciated .
Are they linear or progressive springs.

Shock/strut specs like stroke, damping characteristics ( orifice/shim stack )

Std set up info like sag measurements

Cheers
Cobba

I doubt you can find that. There are I think 3 springs: Base/Limited, Sport, 3rd Row Seating. The Base/Ltd is the softest and the 3rd Row Seating is the stiffest. This is just for the rear and the front is the same for all models.

Ok this is starting to make sense on the information I already have with the 3 conflicting rear spring rates.. No doubt the extra 0.3kg/mm on the 2 front spring rates I found might be for the V6 model with the slightly heavier motor.
