Anyone successfully disabled the speed sensor that disables the radio/navi control functions? It's annoying to not be able to use navigation functions while driving. My passenger ends up having to grab her phone and instead.


I have the eTune system. Thanks

Thank you. Oh my, that's a lot of work just to have free functioning features. I'll have to revisit in an event where I need to get into those areas.

[FONT=&quot]We were annoyed by this as well. This was another reason that we decided to replace the factory 6.1" Nav unit in my wife’s 2012 Limited (P10296 on factory faceplate, non-JBL) with a Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX. There is a software by-pass in the Pioneer to disable these annoying "safety features". Now one of us can type addresses into the nav system or change settings while the other one drives. MUCH more convenient![/FONT]
