Hi all,

We recently traded in our 2013 rav4 le and for the 2015 rav4 xle. We live in northern Ontario and get lots of snow. The rav is excellent in snow. I have some pics of the rav in the snowy environment. I am running 235/65/17 studed snow tires.

EDIT: On phone so I can't add pics ATM. I'll post pics once I get to my pc.

235/65/17? Why the wider tires? I'm curious.

Interested what brand and model of tires. I do not need winter studded tires but would like to read about them. looks the studs are pretty long, unless I was viewing the picture wrong. Don't the studs wear down quickly on pavement?

They are Goodyear ultra grip winter tires. I was running them on the 2013 and not the 2015. Studs do wear but our roads are snow covered for at least half the year. We have been running them for 4 seasons and the studs are still there to the touch.
