For my last car I had bought a Carista Bluetooth ODB2 connector which connects to an iPhone app and allows you to view/change vehicle settings that normally only the dealer can do. I believe the dealer will ask new owner's at the first service if they want any of these changed? Here's the list of settings available:

Cool list. I have a question about - "Auto-turn on A/C when AUTO button pressed (if needed) *YES* / NO" - I live in CT and obviously it is very cold here right now (Feb). When I turn my heat on via the AUTO button set to 70 the AC light turns on 95% of the time. It makes no sense to me. Can anyone explain this? Another thing I was hoping to see on your list is the silly Roads might be ICY warning once the temp fails to 37. I get that warning multiple times a day and it is not needed. Anyone know how to turn it off?

From what I've learned in the past, AC always comes on in Auto mode, even all winter. It assists in defogging as it removes moisture. My last car which I had for 5 years had it on all the time and I never had a problem.

The owner's manual lists those setting that require the data link.
Most of those settings listed here can be set by the user in the setup menus without any added hardware. Section 9-2 in the manual, "customization".
