Hey guys I'm new to the RAV4 world, I got mine back in May. Anyway Im adding some audio components as stock systems just don't do it for me. I know I'm going to need to do some electrical upgrades and the first place I want to start is upgrading all the wires under the hood (Big 3). I would start by upgrading the positive from alternator to battery, that part is easy. The next step would be to upgrade engine/alternator negative to the frame right? And then the battery negative to the frame. The part I'm confused most on is that the battery has 2 ground cables. One going directly to the frame and another that looks like it's going to the engine. So I should just upgrade them all and NOT replace anything right? Seems like a "Big 4" upgrade. Please anybody that can help me I would REALLY appreciate it

If is hibrid version and you put a new battery you habe to limit the charge and amps that go to the new battery i will never get more than 5amps to charge the new battery. And never use the systen with the car stopped. You need also better a AGM battery 20.30amp must be enoght. A thin cable connecting the two batterys no more than 6mm and 5meter could limit the amps you get from the car battery. No easy if you dont habe electronics abilities
