Ebay is a real pain in some instances. I have this Honda Pilot part that's been sold and returned to me twice already, me eating the postage. Same thing with a cell phone. In the long run, it's well worth the occasional issue. May not be the case once China economic warfare kicks in. We'll likely end up making everything here (homeland security). On another note, I'm looking further into the auto-lock feature on the car, just for peace of mind. All of the customization between me and locksmiths may have interefered with settings. I had deleted trouble codes, may have messed with other settings. The radio appears to have many adjustments there.

I dont know if the 4.4 has auto locking but the 4.3 doesn't. I had to get an adapter for them to lock after 10mph.

Successfully programmed both $20 China keyfobs after correcting transponder chips. The bare key and separate remote should arrive another week or so (China). I'm thinking the failed OEM remote has a bad capacitor, as I always use the double click to unlock everything 4 times daily. Hopefully you gave the ebay seller a NEGATIVE REVIEW for selling you JUNK and letting others know not to buy from him! I never buy the cheapest of anything unless its a brand name I know of and trust the seller!

Hey how do you know you key is GQ4-52T? My key does not have any number on its back. I have a 2017 Rav 4 le which was manufactured in Canada. It does have an H stamped on the key. I am trying to figure the key fob number to order such wanted to be sure before I order.

Typically you two can always work things out; whole or partial refund, or exchange. One example was the Toyota mvci cable that came with techstream cd, seller refunded 100% and told me to keep the merchandise simply because the v11 included didn't work at all with the 2016. Still ended up losing about three days work until I finally discovered the v10 trick. I've got a new issue where a China buyer was booted just after I had paid for a different Toyota key trick kit that I no longer need. Will wait a few weeks to see if merchandise arrives. If not then Ebay will refund (one phone call). I will soon have 5 working keyfobs (spent around $100 for the 4 additional). regards....
