Hey guys, I currently own a 2016 Rav4 SE FWD in Los Angeles CA and I had a friend purchase a 2018 Rav4 Limited FWD in Los Angeles in (Sep. 30, 2017) at Longo Toyota and wanted to share the price paid.

It's 2018 Rav4 Limited FWD
Pretty much every single option was added beside the 360 camera / AWD option.
Payment:
Zero down
$577.21 a month (because of the 0.9 APR) x 60 months = $34,632 out the door (+ 2 sets of weather mats one for the 2016, one for the new 2018 for free)

Good deal or Bad deal?

Don't know what a fair price for that RAV would be, but I paid about $27,000 for my '11 RAV AWD V6 engine Base with Upgrade Value Package and also with towing prep. package along with tow hitch wiring, mud guards, and body side protective moldings. That deal seems to be somewhat pricey even allowing for some inflation.

What was the MSRP?

Probably should have gotten the 2017 model with $3K Toyota Cash, not sure anything changed for 2018.

I don't remember the exact MSRP but around $1500 below the MSRP. We were originally going to get the 2017 Limited because of the $2000 Cash back + 0% APR up to 72 months. However they only had about 5 2017 models in Limited and all they had left was the blue color. We checked the other dealers and they were pretty much the same. So didn't have a choice to get the 2018 model and it came with pretty much everything included like the advanced tech package with options Lane departure alert with steering assist, dynamic radar cruise control, pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, BSM, all weather liner, door edge guard, door sill protectors, fog lights, rear bumper applique, remote engine starter, security system, heated/power adjustable programmable seats, homelink rearview mirror, integrated nav, and etc.

I get a quote for 2018 RAV4 LE FWD MSPR $25,700. The RAV4 is a basis one, no any add-on. The dealer is willing to off $5000 from the MSRP. Selling price 20,700. Is it a good deal?

In the southeast, all those options are tacked at SETOYOTA distributor and sold to the dealer with the car. They can't take any of them off, but you can negotiate the price down to feel like you didn't pay for them.

Like [email protected] said, everyone's taxes are different, so do you have the price just for the car? Taking your walkout price in my local (athens, ga), it would seem to be 26k. 26k around here for a LE would be about right.

Tax is 6.25% here. I'm not sure what dealership fees are because I negotiated for a "walk out price."
That would roughly be 27k for the car and add ons. If we removed the leather and remote starter, it would probably be in 26k territory.

Does anyone know what invoice is for a rav4 Hybrid LE or where I can find that information?

It is interesting that you can build a hybrid LE on the Toyota site but I have never seen one show up at any local dealers here in upstate NY. Seems like they stock everything else so you buy a higher priced model. I know the new 2018 models are starting to pile up at my local dealer so I am hoping that will get Toyota to start getting more aggressive on their incentives. Time will tell.

Hi Everyone,
I'm thinking of buying a 2018 RAV4 XLE FWD - Super White exterior, Black interior - Optional Equipment: Carpet mats, All weather mats, and mudguards.
Dealership is offering $23,370 before taxes and fees.
Is this a good deal??
I'm in San Diego, CA and trying to buy before the $1000 Toyotathon cash back deal ends on Jan 2.
Thanks in advance for any advice!!
