Hello all, I was wondering if the 2018 Rav4 had a better ride quality than the 2013? My 2013 rides like a log truck to put it mildly. I can feel every bump in the road! Also excessive cabin noise is a problem on my 2013. Any help appreciated.

Drive an XLE Hybrid, even my Limited Hybrid rides better and is quieter than my '15 Limited, the XLE's 17" wheels ride a tad bit better than 18"s. The Hybrids also have 7" ground clearance since you're interested in the Adventure model, tow rating is 1750lbs. :wink

Changes were made that improved the ride quality with the 2016 updates. These included changes in frame details and welds as well as suspension pieces. Any of the 2016-2018 models should ride more comfortably than the equivalent 2013-2015.

quiter and smoother

we have a 2015 Rav4 limited and just purchased a 2018 XLE. The 2018 is exceptional in terms of ride and quietness compared to the 2015 model. I really did not expect a difference but it is there and very noticeable. Great vehicle.
