I was wondering if anyone has experienced those codes, one is for system too lean, fuel performance/direct injector. The car started idling rough while at the red light, then the check engine came on. I haven’t taken it to the dealership yet just wanted to have an idea of what it was. Thanks you in advance .

Perhaps bad gas has clogged the fuel injectors. Toyota recommends you use Top Tier Gas, which have more cleaners to keep the injectors clean.

Suggest to get some Chevron Techron fuel additive, which may help clean the injectors.

I second Heath's recommendation. Run that tank of gas down (could have some water contamination) and then stick in a bottle of Techron with the next fill up at a Top Tier station. You may have to do it twice before the codes go away. If that doesn't work then you are off to the dealer. You might have a faulty high pressure fuel pump that feeds the direct injectors. It's mounted on top of the engine and is mechanically driven by a camshaft lobe. Otherwise you might have a malfunctioning and faulty direct injector.

90k miles. I was able to figure it out. After doing some research on another forums I noticed that the car had a hard time starting after refueling, that was one of the symptoms for a bad canister purge solenoid. I had it replaced and the check engine went off as well as the bad gas mileage, and rough idling. Thank you for all your recommendations!
