Hi All,

My new Rav4 Hybrid has just run 400 miles in about 2weeks and i am not able to achieve eco score of 50 in normal mode and 65-70 in eco mode. Fuel economy is hovering around 34-35 mpg. I am never a hard footer on the gas paddle rather too gentle. Should i take this to Toyota service for review and check if there is an issue.

Does the traction control turned on has anything to do with this?

Kindly suggest.

Thanks.
I had similar issues with my 2020 hybrid. I just reset the mileage and started off again. I didn’t notice it on the eco score, but on the actual gas mileage read out itself. I think what happens is those first few miles and demo ride etc with partial fuel in the tank just upset the calculations. Just go into the history etc and reset it all and I think you will be fine. Or, you can do nothing and it will sort itself out, but it might take a few tankfuls of gas to do so.
