Decided to track mileage on my new TRD Off Road and thought I'd start a thread for those curious. So, here's my first tank AFTER the initial dealer filled tank.
I live in the Denver Metro area (5280 feet) and it's been a mix of Winter/Spring weather. I've been intentionally attempting to get best MPGs but also attempting to drive "normal". I'm driving at the posted speed limit or above and accelerating from a stop at 'normal' rates with some occasional hard acceleration when needed and some passing of vehicles when needed. What I have done is attempt to coast as much as possible and driving "ahead" in order to limit stops at lights, slowing and coasting while waiting for the light to change, and anticipating other drivers, etc.
We have a max speed limit of 75 mph on the interstate and I've caught myself at 85-90 mph many times as, surprisingly, it's not hard to do. I generally drive at 5-10 mph over the posted speed limit but not racing to overtake others or being aggressive.
My work commute is 16 miles with a mix of suburban city, country highway and interstate. My commute generally takes 23 minutes. I had several weekend trips of mixed driving but the last approx. 100 miles today was country roads with an average speed limit of 55 mph and several stop signs and signals with large segments of no stopping. The trip computer stated 32 mpg after shutting down the last 50 mph segment.
There is no auto engine off on my Rav4 and the factory cross bars were installed shortly after filling the tank.
I'll continue to update this thread as I fill the tank.

1st tank after initial dealer fill.
Odometer = 654.
Total miles on tank = 374.2 miles. (Filled at 280 miles) (Gas light did not come on but 'Distance to Empty' was approx. 7-10 miles and expected soon. The fill amount reconciles this number.)
Gallons filled = 12.285. $3.669/gallon. $45.07 total. Regular Unleaded (85) Maverick. *Same station and grade used to make initial fill after dealer fill.
MPGs hand calculated = 30.459.
Onboard computer calculation = 30.3 MPG.
Stated miles to empty after fill = 366. (30.459 x 14.5 gallons = 441.65 mile range to empty. 375 mile "safe" range.)
Tire pressure (cold) = DF 37, PF 36, DR 36, PR 35.
