We're getting beat by this big winter storm on the east coast, so I decided to take my 2017 XLE AWD out to play. Snow was about 4-6 inches deep. I've gotta say, AWD makes a big difference in control, but the stock Yokohama Geolanders make it even better! I had Continentals on my 2015 RAV4, but they didn't feel as grippy. No matter how much I whipped it around or went uphill, it was difficult to lose traction past the point of no return. Giving it the beans in a parking lot was fun! >:D

I do wish the stupid "Traction Control Off" message would stop popping up in the MID every 2 seconds.

I am still pretty amazed how seamlessly the AWD works on my RAV4. My winter tires are in their last year and the AWD system compensates nicely for having tires that have 6/32" of tread left.
