$112 (Option CD, cargo cover)

$176 (Option DR, roof racks)

$96 (Option AA, styled steel wheels)

$559 (Option GY, side air bags)

$75 (Option C4, floor mats)

Invoice incl. destination = $21,295 + $467 (Ad Fee) = $21,762

So, subtracting the two = $300

Sounds like you got a very good deal. The dealer probably had a 'holdback' of a few hundred $$, but $300 over invoice is good for this early in the season.

Did you ever look at the dealer invoice price? Based on my invoice price + 4WD, you're paying at invoice. Your invoice should have included 2% holdback, 1% finance reserve, and advertising fee..

I was offered at invoice at $21,200 for a base model with all the basic options which is just like yours. For 4WD, it would take your price to $22,200. Plenty of profit for the dealer.

Should you ready to purchase, you can always ask them to throw in a couple freebies.. i.e. alarm, door edge, or even side body moulding, or pin stripe.. all-weather mat, cargo tray... whatever you could get with paying. As my buyer from my company purchasing department told me before leaving to finalize my deal,.. it will not hurt to ask for more...
