70k mile maintenance?

I'm sort of new to the forums and RAV4s in general. This is the wife's car. She crossed 60k and now 70k recently. I normally do all my own maintenance, but she has continued to take the car to the stealership for oil changes, etc.

They want $451 for the 60k maintenance, which I can see includes a few things:
ATF flush and change
Coolant flush and change
PCV valve change

The rest, air, cabin, oil, etc filters have been done by me recently because I felt it was time to do it.

$451 seems steep to do the ATF and coolant flushes only. Is there anything else I am forgetting for this standard maintenance package?

I make it a habit to do an ATF drain and fill with every third or fourth oil change (so every 15-20k miles) because the local oil recycling stations will take ATF. If you do all this other maintenance, changing the oil and the ATF is a breeze. Coolant is another issue and harder to dispose of so I let the dealer do that, and I would do so every three or so years regardless of the miles (we average about 12k miles a year). The PCV valve change you could probably do yourself as well.

As far as other maintenance, I'd use the owner's manual as a guide (I don't have that with me at the moment). Typically, things like belts and hoses are mentioned in there somewhere, and I'd typically also have these done by the dealer. Good luck with all this.

are the 06 i4's a timing belt or a chain? i'm in the same boat as the OP.. its my fiances car just rolled 76k, i've done the oil changes every 5k with Moible1 extended lift oil and just replaced the front pads but no other major tune ups. she called the stealership and they told her they would replace the timing belt and flush the tranny along with standard air/oil/cabin filters. i'm new to Rav4s but not new to toyotas. i have a 2 4runners, one built for 4wheelin, and one is my dd.. but thats a different story

also, is there a link to a FSM on here? i've searched but didnt come up with much.

Fist it isn't technically required, second, way too much.

Do simple drain and refill for both ATF and cooling. Use OEM fluids as there will be some mixing with old fluids. I personally will drop an AT pan at 60000 to replace ATF filter.
