Good day Gents.

My 2008 Rav4 2.4L had an CEL light come up. Pulled the code P0031.

From my research, it is the Bank 1 Sensor 1, the A/F closest to the engine in the manifold.

Called the Dealership, they want $315.00 for the sensor. Called another place aftermarket NTK $215.00. Went on Amazon.ca 123.79. I just want to make sure I am ordering the correct sensor.

And here is the link to the sensor I believe I require - https://www.amazon.ca/Denso-234-904...=UTF8&qid=1473341175&sr=8-1&keywords=234-9049

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Yes Denso 234-9049 is the correct one for your Bank 1 sensor 1 air/fuel 2008 rav4 2.4L. Have you tried ebay or walmart for a better price?

I did buy the one on Amazon, it was in Canada and should have it on Monday. I will update the thread when I receive the A/F sensor.

Thanks,

Lawrence

I received the A/F sensor on Monday. My O2 sensor socket is a 7/8" socket was too large and the A/F sensor was in there tightly. Paid a local shop to remove and install the new sensor ($93 OTD). Have driven with the A/F sensor installed for about a week now, no check engine light.... Buying the sensor on Amazon saved me a lot of money.

Thanks,

Lawrence
