So I am still trying to figure out why my Ac is shutting off.
When car is on and I turn Ac on it comes on blowing cold, then 3 seconds later it shuts off and light on Ac button blinks in 1 second intervals.
I have confirmed pressures are correct, both radiator fans come on, clutch is engaging.
I have followed Toyota service manual diagnostics and all specs check out. Checked speed sensor continuity, checked wiring harness, installed used Ac amplifier I purchased for twenty dollars just to be sure before I bought new compressor.
The question I have is about speed sensor on compressor.
I checked ohms and it was within range of 165-205. Could it still be defective even if continuity is good?
I don't have an oscilloscope to check waveform.
