Ok guys....what are your thoughts on these aftermarket headers for the 2GR-FE? It's for the 2GR-FE to MK2 MR2 swap but may be able to fit the RAV4. Just want to know what your opinions are on this. Thanks ahead of time.

FMW's stainless headers bolt to all 2GR-FE engines without modification, eliminating the pre-cats and providing a significant improvement in power and torque throughout the rev range. They are made of lightweight mandrel bent stainless steel and are TIG welded.

Designed for the 2GR -> MK2 MR2 engine swap, these headers provide enough clearance to bolt up a manual transmission.

The outlets of these headers are not the same as stock!! You must fabricate your own exhaust from the header flanges back.

Gouky,

Your posts are painful. . . That is, I've got an AWD 2009 V6 RAV4 and I would love a set of headers.

Any possibility of making a set??? I'm sure there are several of us who would buy them. Perhaps we could get a group buy set up and then you could have a guaranteed sale set up to make it worth your while. Seriously. Would love a set. No finish, I'll ceramic coat them when they arrive at my door.

Best,

The headers are still available, I spoke with Marc recently. But you will need to have a custom y pipe fabricated to mate up with the header outlets. There is an available aftermarket y pipe that will mate up with Gouky's headers but they are designed for the MR2 application so you will need to modify the piping after the merge on that as well. And it is around $700 for the y pipe.
I'm still debating on what I want to do but I will be getting either a y pipe or the header and y pipe before the year is up.

$700 for the 'Y' pipe? Sheesh!
