I have the standard Deluxe AM/FM/Cassette/CD installed in my 2005 RAV4. I usually listen to the radio at a volume around 18-20, but when I insert a Cassette or CD, I notice that the volume needs to be cranked up to around 28-30 for the same sound level. Is my AM/FM/Cassette/CD unit defective, or is this normal?

That's not the one that comes with the car is it? Because I have the standard CD/cassette/AM/FM, and it's the other way around for me: When I put a CD, I have to lower the volume of the radio, but it's different with a cassette, although i blame it on the cassettes being old and I usually don't listen to cassettes anyways. Maybe the newest radios are different
