Just found inside the rear wheel well there is a bolt cracks open those "asphalt/tart type inner coating". Does it just the asphalt coating crack open or it is because the bolt protruding out? If it is the bolt actually protruded then it probably NOT GOOD, right? Please see pics for detail. One side the asphalt coating was gone from the bolt but the other side just starts to crack open. Anyone knows? Thanks!

That bolt is most likely for securing a seat or seat belt and is of no concern...the coating has just peeled off...I would go to Walmart or an auto parts store and get some rubberized undercoating and respray the area...

I had the same thing happen to me when I remove that "ring" from the inside on the window well. I wanted to remove the fender covers on the inside.
When I put it back, I over tightened and bolts went right thru.

I think I just remove the bolts, greased the threads, re-bolted everything. I then degreased everything on the ourside and sprayed some rubber from a can from the part store.

That was 3 years ago and I still have no issues.
