Looking down the road, I was wondering if there is a problem when it is time for new tires. Does the inflation monitoring device cause a problem?

Make sure you bring it to a shop that knows how to dismantal this setup. Tell them up-front that your vehicle has it because there are special precautions when breaking down these wheels. The sensors are huge sometimes and can be damaged in a second.

Very important!!!! Most new shops around will have training on how to do it but "ED'S gas bar" on a back road somewhere might not have the budget for good equiptment and training for their employees so becareful of where you bring it.

Later. M.

Thanks for the info. I will check with NTB (National Tire and Battery) to see if they can do it.
