My RAV4 needs a new brake master cylinder, a new PCV Valve/Hose and I also want to put on LED Headlights/Tailights/Side Marker Lights, (Just need the bulb, is all)
I would also like some advice on my RAV4 hard to start from cold.
Sounds good. I will check out RockAuto.com for the parts.
I have so far done the:
Battery cables, (Both positive/Negative) look corroded, though.
I am also thinking of buying some Sylvania 9006/9005 LED White Headlight Bulbs and I will also check out some of edogator's posts to see if he recommends any parts.
Thanks for your quick reply!
Thanks for your advice!!! I know all the belts were replaced when I bought my truck. I might look into the hoses in the next month or maybe sooner. Looking forward to replacing the vacuum hoses in August/ September.
Do you also happen to know if the MAP Sensor would cause hard starting from cold?
- A rich or lean fuel mixture. You may notice a gas smell after the engine has warmed up. The engine will knock or ping at times for no apparent reason
- Excessive fuel consumption
- Rough idle
- Hesitation or slight jerking during acceleration, or when putting the vehicle into drive
- Stalls or dies immediately after you try to give the engine gas to start the car moving
