I just took delivery of my Prime XSE w/ PP. The 12-inch digital instrument cluster is nice, but I cannot figure out how to get it to show remaining battery charge instead of estimated remaining EV range.

Anyone know how to do this?

I'm looking for a percentage display of remaining charge. I'm aware of the bar gauge at the bottom left corner.

There is a bar SOC (State of Charge) display shown on the lower left of the display.

Goodness, I don't even have a 2023 RAV4 Prime and it took me all of 20 seconds to find this in the 2023 owner's manual PDF. It's labeled K. And starting on p. 198 there's instructions on changing all kinds of display options.

Oh I found that pretty quickly too before posting this. I guess I didn't ask clearly enough. I'm looking for a percentage display of the remaining charge. It's one of the display options available in my 2022 Prius Prime Limited and I had hoped the 2023 RAV4 Prime XSE could also display this.

None that I can find. And the 2021-22 RAV4 Primes don't have a precise gauge either. It's just a needle that goes from 100% to 0%, and never reaches 0%. What value is there in knowing the exact State of Charge? If you want the actual State of Charge, you'll need an OBDII reader, and you'll find that the computer states a different SoC than the gauge does.

It's just the way I'm used to viewing it. It was pretty accurate in the Prius Prime. 100% after a full charge and as soon as it got to 0% I could feel the combustion engine come on. I understand that when it showed 100% it was fully charged and at 0% there is actually some charge left for it to use in HV mode.

The app. won't give me an instant reading. I might have to get a OBD2 bluetooth adapter and use Carista or Dr. Prius to get this feature. I've also seen a mini display that can be mounted to the A-pillar to show the info..
