Hey guys, how common are Rav4s in the USA being a good percentage from Japan?
Like we recently purchased a 2018 XLE Hybrid Rav4 AWD and it is 100% from Japan with a J VIN #. While also when were at the dealership noticed many of the non-hybrid models were also 70% from Japan with a number of Hybrids also being the same.
Is this pretty common? Or was this one of those just occurrences that is dealer specific?
We usually always prefer the more (%) from Japan for quality issues, but at times those are hard to come by on models as well.
